Marvel closed Comic-Con 2022 with its presentation — it was the last show from a major film studio at the exhibition. New projects, as in previous years, were presented by the curator of the film universe Kevin Feigi. However, the event was attended by directors and actors of upcoming films.

We have collected in one note all the announcements and details about upcoming projects.


About future plans
At the beginning of the show, Feigi announced that the fifth phase of the MCU will start in 2023 and showed the full release schedule for it. Among them, you can notice both already announced projects and new ones.


In addition, the sixth phase will start in the fall of 2024, which will end with two films about the Avengers in 2025.

Films
"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"
The film will be the last project of the fourth phase. Actors and a director came to Comic-Con, who told that the film will reveal the history of Wakanda. In addition, the authors confirmed that Tenoch Huerta will play Namor, the ruler of Atlantis.

A trailer of the film was shown at the conference, which immediately appeared online. It focused on how the residents of Wakanda mourn for the deceased T'Challa. The video also showed Namor, who, apparently, will fight with the main characters.

"Ant-Man: Quantum Mania"
The film will be released on February 17, 2023. A poster of the painting was brought to Comic-Con, which depicts Cassie Lang, the daughter of the main character, in a superhero costume.


The presentation also showed a video of the film, in which Kang the Conqueror, MODOK and the character of Bill Murray appeared. It has not been published online yet.

"Guardians of the Galaxy. Part Three"
The premiere of the film will take place on May 5, 2023. Director James Gunn said that she will finish the current story. But he noted that this does not mean the death of all the main characters.

Along with Gunn, actors Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff and Will Poulter took the stage. They said the film would show how Star-Lord copes with Gamora's death and reveal the Rocket's backstory.


The main villain of the tape, apparently, will be the Supreme Evolutionist, played by Chakwudi Iwuji from The Peacemaker. The actor, by the way, appeared on stage in the image.


The presentation also showed a movie clip in which the dog Cosmo, the mighty hero Adam Warlock and Gamora from another universe appeared.

The dog is voiced by Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova, known for the sequel "Borata". The soundtrack of the video is the song "Do You Realize?" by Flaming Lips.
